Your private words stay on your device.

Dictivo starts local because most dictation should feel private by default. Cloud Fast is visible because it changes where audio is processed.

Local mode

The everyday path for private work, sensitive notes, notes after client conversations, and personal drafting.

  • Microphone audio stays on this device
  • Transcripts, history, dictionary, and snippets stay local
  • Works without a cloud transcription account
  • Tiny stays free forever
  • 14-day full Local trial unlocks every local model
Cloud Fast mode

A separate speed path for low-sensitivity recordings where waiting would break your flow.

  • Only runs when you select Cloud Fast
  • Uploads the selected recording for faster transcription
  • Designed for low-sensitivity recordings
  • Local remains available whenever privacy matters more
  • Use Local whenever the audio is sensitive.

Read the full privacy boundary on the security page.
